The Mission of the College states that the “traditions (of Emory & Henry) provide the context for our pursuit of excellence, as we engage a diverse group of well-qualified men and women in educational experiences that lead to lives of service, productive careers, and global citizenship.” Emory & Henry College currently has student-led organizations that focus on exploring diverse cultures on campus.
A social and support organization for gay, lesbian, transgendered and bisexual persons of the campus community and for their friends and allies. This organization sponsors educational training for the campus community and outreach events such as the Day of Silence

The social fraternity was established as a way to provide greater support and mentorship to African American men on campus. They sponsor social activities throughout the year and actively participate in Greek Life on campus.
