Students operate our college & community radio & television stations that serve listeners well beyond the campus and gives students valuable hands-on experience. Supported by a robust Mass Communications Department, our student media organizations are among the most active organizations covering a very active campus.
The student media literary and art magazine. Organized in 1957 as the “Prism” and renamed “Ampersand” in 1979. Published once a year.
Operated by students of the Mass Communications Department, with expert guidance from our top-rated professors, EHC-TV gives students hands-on video, broadcasting, and visual media training. Programming appears on Comcast Cable, Channel 3, on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7 p.m., including news and interviews on ‘Emory & Henry Reports’ as well as replays of football and basketball games.
Published for over 100 years, The Sphinx is the official E&H College yearbook, and is issued annually in the spring. Preserving the memories of today, the yearbook documents college life during the academic year for students to enjoy for years to come. The College newspaper, first published in 1914 as The Weekly Bulletin and now one of the oldest student-produced newspapers in the South. It is a student media published weekly during the school year.
