Alpha Phi Omega

Alpha Phi Omega is a national service fraternity. We pledge our time, energy and effort to our chapter, campus, community and country. The Pi Omicron chapter at Emory & Henry has been in full force since 1966. We are located in region three and section 81.

Alpha Phi Omega was founded on December 16, 1925 at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania by Frank Reed Horton. The purpose of Alpha Phi Omega is to assemble college in a National Service Fraternity in the fellowship of the principles of Alpha Phi Omega; to develop leadership, promote friendship and provide service to humanity; and to further the freedom that is our national, educational and intellectual heritage. The rich heritage of Alpha Phi Omega is derived from the fellowship of the principles of the Boy Scouts of America as embodied in its Scout Oath and Law.
