Applying for Housing
All Emory & Henry students are required to live on campus, with the following exceptions: Students who reside with their parents or with their spouses; students 22 years of age or older; part-time students taking eight or fewer semester hours; students with special medical or personal considerations; or students who, because of capacity constraints, may choose to live off campus.
Any student who plans to live off campus must complete a Residence Requirement Waiver, available through the Office of Student Life; if the waiver is not completed, the student will be billed for room and board.
To apply for housing, students must complete, sign, and return a copy of the housing contract along with a $100 deposit to the Office of Student Life. The housing contract is only distributed to students who are enrolled in classes. By signing the contract, you are bound and obligated to pay all room and board charges for the entire school year.
Room Draw takes place in the spring. All current students are expected to come by the Office of Student Life to draw a number or specify that they would like to retain their current assignment. Current students should also pay the $100 room charge to the Business Office and make sure all accounts are current by the day prior to Room Draw.
