Campus Christian Fellowship
The mission of the Emory & Henry Campus Christian Fellowship is:
To share the gospel of Jesus Christ in an affirming and meaningful community of love and fellowship which meets people where they are and challenge them to grow in Christ and commit to His service.

Compassion, fellowship, challenge, fun, and service are all incorporated into CCF's programming. CCF meets each Tuesday evening for a program that challenges participants to grow in their faith through fun activities, music, meaningful speakers, worship, personal sharing, and service. The group is absolutely nondenominational and is welcoming to all students!

Some of the CCF activities planned for the fall include a retreat, a hayride, and several guest speakers. Through "Thank God It's the Weekend" CCF provides safe, alternative weekend activities that are open to everyone on campus. These activities include movies, hiking, biking, bowling, cookouts, and much more.

Campus Christian Fellowship seeks to provide a loving and supportive community that offers care, acceptance, and a sense of family in this college home away from home.

Kerygma
Kerygma is a Greek word meaning "proclamation." At Emory & Henry College, Kerygma is an organization that provides perspectives on church vocations, learning experiences, service opportunities, and a fellowship for those students considering a ministry-related vocation. The group, which meets monthly, assists with the planning of Sunday evening worship in the Chapel, sponsors tours of theological schools, and hosts receptions for visiting lecturers and preachers.

For more information about Kerygma contact the Office of Religious Life, ext. 6836 or tkobler@ehc.edu.

Habitat for Humanity
Love. Compassion. Hope. Desire to make a difference.

Habitat for Humanity brings communities and families in need together with volunteer resources to build decent, affordable housing. The college chapter of Habitat at Emory & Henry shares love, compassion, hope, and the desire to make a difference as they improve and repair housing in the local community. Three years ago, the Habitat group completed a playground for the use of the community at Emory United Methodist Church. In addition to regular workdays and volunteering for disaster relief, the chapter will be participating in a national Habitat building event.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is focused on one purpose:
Present to athletes and coaches, and all whom they influence, the challenge and the adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.
At Emory & Henry, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes consists of coaches, athletes, and other interested students who meet for a devotion and discussion of faithful living. You don't need to be an athlete to attend. Everyone is welcome!

For more information about FCA contact Coach Don Montgomery at ext.6234 or Coach Joy Scruggs at ext.3238.

ENCOUNTER WORSHIP
Evening worship on the campus of Emory & Henry College is held each Sunday in Memorial Chapel at 7:30 p.m. The worship style is upbeat and contemporary. Guest speakers, including students, pastors, faculty, and musicians share their experiences of the work of God in their lives. Each service is nondenominational and open to anyone. Sunday evening worship is simply a time when the whole Emory community can gather for praise, devotion, challenge, and fellowship.

Services are led by the E&H Praise Band and Drama Team. Students with musical or dramatic gifts and a commitment to worship leadership are invited to be a part of the ministry of the Praise Band and Drama Team. Be on the lookout for sign-ups.
