What Your Room Looks Like

Most first-year males are housed in the recently renovated Hillman Hall, which provides rooms for approximately 110 men. Each room is equipped with bunk beds, chest of drawers, desks and closets. Each floor in the residence hall has two communal showers and restroom facilities.

First-year females are housed in Wiley Jackson Hall. Built in 1958, it is the college's largest residence hall. It boasts a large, elegant second-floor lounge that features attractive study nooks and a baby grand piano. Some of these 12-by-12-foot double-occupancy rooms allow for residents to loft one of the room's two beds, providing even more space for furnishings. The rooms come with closets, chests of drawers, and study tables, and each floor provides two communal showers and restroom facilities.

Among the halls where upperclass students reside are Stuart Hall (men) and Weaver Hall (women). Stuart Hall provides showers and restrooms for every two rooms. The double-occupancy rooms consist of bunk beds, desks, closets, and chests of drawers. Weaver provides similar furnishings and shower arrangements in a recently renovated historic facility that includes an attractive lounge suitable for a variety of functions.
