You can't manage what you don't measure is an old adage that still holds true.  Emory & Henry has installed 19 electric meters in 21 buildings to more accurately manage campus consumption.  The meters report back to a workstation, where consumption patterns and monthly totals can be analyzed.  Once a baseline is established, the college can identify wasteful buildings and prioritize energy conservation measures.  The meters will also be used for campus energy challenges and will provide data for a variety of academic uses.
