For Students

Emory & Henry is where students make connections—to people, resources, opportunities, jobs and more. Drop us a line anytime to talk and get connected! Some of the opportunities available to students include:

Student Projects

Whether you already have a plan in place or just the beginning of an idea, Ampersand Connected Learning staff can help you plan and implement your project by advising on successful project management, connecting you with people who can help and support you, providing resources including student grants, and more. Email Joseph Vess for more info or to make an appointment to talk.

Student Grants (temporarily suspended)

All E&H undergraduate students are eligible for up to $500 to complete projects or travel to conferences and present on their projects.

Ampersand Ambassadors

Ambassadors share their accomplishments and represent Emory & Henry at public events including Ampersand Day, gaining leadership and public speaking skills and meeting and networking with alumni, community members and many others.

Present on Ampersand Day

Are you a student with brilliant project that has been consuming your life that you want to tell everyone about? Are you a faculty member supervising students whose work needs to be shared with the world? Whether it is biological research, a music performance, contributing in the community or anything else, share it at Emory & Henry’s third annual Ampersand Day, April 24, 2020.
