The Office of Student Activities strives to provide a connection for students through extracurricular activities around campus. From student clubs/organizations to events and programs, the Office of Student Activities aims to provide current students and alumni a sense of belonging to Emory & Henry.

Campus groups include performing groups, Greek organizations, honorary societies, and many others, including representative groups such as Emory Activities Board & Student Government Association.

Clubs & Organizations

Emory & Henry has more than 85 active student clubs and organizations so you can stay connected—even outside of class. Our student organizations include Greek life, honor societies, interest groups, club sports teams, performing groups, spiritual and worship groups, student media teams and more.

Greek Life

Greek Life at Emory & Henry offers students opportunities for fellowship, service, and social activities. The majority of the Greek organizations on campus are local and unique to Emory & Henry. There are seven sororities and eight fraternities.

Student Government Association

The Student Government Association is the student-led governing body of campus. Students at Emory & Henry have a long and proud history of involvement in the governance of Emory & Henry. Student Government programs include campus initiatives, club charter grants, Student Government elections, student conduct, and student organization funding.

Student Media

Emory & Henry’s student media allows students to share the latest news to campus with print, radio, television and streaming media. Student publications include The Sphinx and The Whitetopper. EHC-TV is a student television news program and WEHC 90.7 FM is the Emory & Henry radio station broadcasting programs by students, faculty and staff.

Emory Activities Board

The Emory Activities Board (EAB) brings fun and exciting campus-wide events for students such as concerts, movies, games and more. EAB has open membership for any students who want to share their ideas for student activities.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging

The Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging values a diverse and inclusive community of students on campus. Every year, DEI&B hosts the Block Party and Fall Festival. The office has mentoring groups and several multicultural groups including Men of Excellence (M.O.E.), Women of Kolor (WOK), and the Multicultural Student Association (MSA). Groups under the MSA umbrella include Appalachian, Asian, Black, First Generation College, Inter-faith/Non-religion, Latine, LGBTQ+, Native American/Pacific Islander, Women and Disabled Student Union.

New Student Experience & Orientation

Throughout the year, the New Student Experience office offers activities for first-year students to build a community.
