Educational Technology

  • Can you help me reset my password?

    In order to reset your password, please contact the IT help desk at ithelpdesk@ehc.edu or call (276) 944-6881.

  • How do I log into Moodle?

    Go to www.moodle.ehc.edu and enter your username and password. Do not include the @ehc.edu when you enter your username.

  • I can log into everything else but Moodle, why does my password not work?

    Sometimes passwords take up to 24 hours to sync up to all login portals. If you need immediate access, please contact the helpdesk to request a password change.

  • Can you help me log into MyHub?

    The MyHub login credentials are the same as email, network, Moodle, etc.

  • Can you set me up with a Vidgrid account?

    Students do not currently have access to their own VidGrid accounts. If you need to use VidGrid for a class assignment, please ask your instructor to enable a “guest recording link,” so that you can access the VidGrid platform.

  • Where do I download the Respondus Lockdown Browser? Can you send me the link before my exam this week?

  • I need Microsoft Word/PowerPoint for a class, and was told that I can get it for free as a student. How do I do that?

    Emory & Henry faculty, staff & students now have A FREE DOWNLOAD of the Microsoft Office Suite through Office 365! Please visit the following website and log in with your E&H email address and password. From there, you can download the full Office Suite to use as long as you are enrolled at Emory & Henry College! https://login.microsoftonline.com

Courses & Coursework

  • Where are my courses?

    Your course request may still be in the process of being completed. If you are missing ALL of your courses, please contact a member of the E&H Online team and we can help resolve this issue.

  • How do I get started with my coursework?

    Log into our Moodle site at moodle.ehc.edu and click on any course in your list to get started with that particular course.

  • How do I get in touch with my instructor?

    Check the course syllabus for contact information of your instructor. If all else fails, go to the institution’s website, www.ehc.edu, click on the drop down menu for Faculty and

  • Where is the course syllabus and/or course schedule?

    The course syllabus and schedule should be some of the first items listed in your course shell. Please refer to your course for these items.

  • I added a course earlier today and it is still not showing on my Moodle page. When will I be able to access my course?

    Course changes will not show up for an hour after the Registrar’s office has updated your enrollment. If a couple hours have passed and you still do not see your course, please contact a member of the E&H Online team.

  • Can you let me back into my course that has closed? I need to finish up the rest of my course work.

    Only an instructor can request a course to be accessible by a student after the closing date. Please have your instructor contact a member of the E&H Online team.

  • I dropped this course but it is still showing on my Moodle page. Can you remove it?

    Changes to course schedules take up to an hour to be reflected in Moodle. If a course has been showing for more than a day, please contact a member of the E&H Online team to correct the issue.

  • Where do I access my course evaluations?

    During the course evaluation period, you will be emailed a link everyday that will take you to your course evaluations or you may access evaluations through the SmartEvals block on your Moodle page.

  • When will I gain access to my courses near the beginning of each term? How long will I have access to them after the end of finals?

    Instructors provide access at different times. Sometimes a course will be hidden by an instructor until the first day of classes or sometimes work will be assigned before the actual start date of a semester. Course access is usually available for three weeks after a semester unless you are enrolled in a School of Health Sciences program. Please check with your instructor on course availability.
