Art Gallery Exhibit
The MCA Gallery at McGlothlin Center for the Arts
Noon-5 pm, no admission fee
Mixed-media and photography artist Jay Gould works with themes of science and storytelling.

Tour of E&H School of Health Sciences
Marion Campus, Radio Hill Road, Marion, Va., 4 pm
The School of Health Sciences was launched in 2014 and is housed on the new 15-acre School of Health Sciences campus in Marion, Virginia, just 20 miles north of the main campus.

Tour of E&H Equestrian Center
I-81, Exit 10, 4 pm
The 120-acre riding center has indoor and outdoor arenas and a cross-country course that serve as venues for competitions and hands-on training. Winning 19 national championships since 2001, the College’s IHSA, IDA & ANRC teams offer opportunities for students to gain expertise in hunters, jumpers and dressage. Riding is open to all students at Emory & Henry, regardless of their major or level of riding.

Dinner With Your Student

Please join us for dinner in the Van Dyke Center cafeteria. Reserved seating will be provided, and dinner will be available for a special price. No advance purchase is necessary.

Family & Friends Association Kick-Off Social
Wolf Hills Brewing, Abingdon, Va., 6-9 pm
Join us for a local craft beer in the nearby historic town of Abingdon, Va. Wolf Hills Brewing has become a popular hangout for students and alumni.

The goal of the E&H Outdoor Adventure Program is to introduce E&H students, faculty and staff of the wonders of silent sports: hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, paddling, cross-country skiing and biking.

Tailgate*
Van Dyke Back Lawn, 10:30 am-1pm
Please join us for Saturday tailgate on the lawn behind Van Dyke cafeteria. Reserved seating will be provided, and meal will be available for a special price. No advance purchase is necessary.

Football
Fred Selfe Stadium, 1 pm
Cost: $15 (reserved), $10 (non-reserved), $5 (ages 7-18), Free (under 7)
The Emory & Henry College football team will take on the Generals of Washington & Lee. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
