Create, engage, encourage, & empower a community inclusive of all.
The Inclusion & Dialogue Center (I.D. Center) at Emory & Henry College is a welcoming home for dialogue about topics surrounding diversity and inclusion. The I.D. Center seeks to create, engage, encourage, and empower a community that strives to be inclusive of all.
Through social and educational programming, advocacy for social change, and by providing resources and support, the I.D. Center seeks to serve as a model for inclusive excellence and to be a safe space for all people to share their perspectives and experiences. Empowering the voices of our students regardless of race, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, religion, ability, and other salient identities is the center’s priority.

Happy 4 Year Anniversary to the ID Center!
Emory & Henry Family,
You are invited to join us as we celebrate our fourth year anniversary of the opening of the Inclusion & Dialogue Center (ID Center) at Emory & Henry College. We want to take a few moments and celebrate you and thank you for your relationship and role as a member of our community. For the next seven days we will highlight our journey together as the ID Center has grown over the past four years. We celebrate your efforts and willingness to have traveled this journey with us and look forward to the continued support, respect, and admiration you have offered the ID Center. The ID Center is a place where students, faculty, and staff come together to foster the idea that ALL people are a part of the big, wide, wonderful world that we live in and deserve the right to flourish in a safe, nonthreatening environment where you can “be who you be!” Thank you for the contributions you have made that have sustained us over the past four years and we look forward to your continued participation in our diversity, equity, and inclusion movement that is helping to change the narrative on Emory & Henry’s campus. Join us as we celebrate our Fourth Year Anniversary of the ID Center!
Namaste! (nah-mas-tay) Our soul honors your soul. We commend the place in you where the spirit resides. We admire the place in you which is of love, truth, light, & peace, because it is also within us. In sharing these things, we are united, as one! - Anonymous
