Xuan Wang-Wolf named new Director of Online Education at Emory & Henry College
Wang-Wolf will lead the College’s strategic initiative to expand Emory & Henry’s presence and reputation in online and adult education and professional development programming to meet regional workforce needs. In this role, she will work closely with faculty to provide training and support related to designing, developing, and deploying both online and hybrid courses.
“I am very excited to join the Emory & Henry community,” says Wang-Wolf. “My goal is to establish and expand online and hybrid programs at Emory & Henry, programs that are rooted in research and evidence-based quality design, development, and delivery. I will continue to work towards improving equitability, accessibility, and diversity in education by implementing exceptional learning experiences that enhance learner participation and offer global and lifelong learning opportunities.”
Wang-Wolf brings more than a decade of professional experience in program management, online pedagogy, learning strategy, instructional design, educational technology, adult and continuing education, workforce education, and intercultural communication. She was an A.W. Mellon Fellow in Technology-Enhanced Learning at Carnegie Mellon University in 2017 and a recipient of a Digital Humanities Fellowship from McMaster University in 2018. She has previously led design and professional development initiatives at Arizona State University and the University of Northern Iowa.
