Gallery Attendants Hired for the McGlothlin Center for the Arts
Adrianna Reynolds, Liam Besneate-Cullinane, Cas Dumas, Desirhea Morton, Kassi Armendo, and C. J. Miller will help manage visitation and art installation at the gallery.
Gallery attendants perform a variety of duties, including working at the front desk and greeting visitors. While working at the front desk, these attendants keep written records of gallery visitors and provide information about current artists and exhibits in the gallery. Attendants also work to ensure the safety of the exhibits.
Gallery attendants also help with the installation of art exhibitions. This work may include painting or repairing walls and pedestals, installing light fixtures, placing artwork, and removing and packaging up artwork at the end of an exhibition.
In addition, attendants also promote upcoming art exhibitions and help manage the gallery’s website and social media platforms. Attendants ensure that the gallery is kept clean, as well.
Gallery attendants work under the direction and supervision of Joe Champagne, curator of the McGlothlin Center for the Arts.
