Open Education Network Workshop

Join us to learn about Open Educational Resources (OER), the impact of OER on students, and how you can become involved in Open Education.

The workshop is run by Ruth Castillo, Director of Library and Xuan Wang-Wolf, Director of Online Education.

Workshop Dates:

Monday, March 8, 2021 Time: 3:30PM - 5:00PM, EST

Tuesday, March 9, 2021 Time: 12:00pm - 1:30pm, EST

After the workshop, participants will be asked to write a short review of an open textbook. Your review will benefit other faculty considering open textbooks.

You will receive a $200 stipend for your participation and written review.

The Open Education Network workshop is a member benefit of VIVA’s membership in the Open Education Network, an alliance of schools committed to access, affordability, and student academic success through the use of open textbooks.
