Taylor Hines to pursue master’s degree at Duke University Divinity School
Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world.
Taylor Hines, from Jonesville, Va., will graduate in May 2021 with a degree in Religion and History.
“Through invaluable interdisciplinary classroom education and practical internship experiences, Emory & Henry has provided me opportunities to work hands on in my future vocation,” says Hines.
On campus, Hines was involved in the Marching Band, Spiritual Life and Theta Chi Epsilon.
“Dr. Joe Reiff and Dr. James Dawsey afforded me the opportunity to learn about the deep aspects of theology and religion that has shown me that my career in Pastoral Ministry can be fruitful,” says Hines. “Their caring passion for all their students has made a lasting impression on every student that has taken one of their classes. I am forever grateful for their grace and kindness as mentors.”
After graduation, Hines will be attending Duke University Divinity School to pursue a Master of Divinity degree. His plans are to become an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church.
