Mary Eliza Hendricks will spend her summer teaching theatre
Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world.
Mary Eliza Hendricks, from Signal Mountain, Tenn., will graduate in May 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre. While on campus, Hendricks was involved with Alpha Psi Omega and Pi Sigma Kappa.
“The faculty of the theatre department and our partnership with the Barter Theatre did an excellent job in teaching and preparing me for the professional theatre industry,” says Hendricks. “Dr. Bremner, Annalee Tull, Kevin Dudley, and Zaccheaus Kimbrell, all are amazing. Dr. Bremner has really helped me in cultivating my skills, finding my strengths, and helping me pull off my senior project. Kevin has taught me so much about life and hard work, and Annalee has been amazing for helping me craft my dance skills, Crichton thinking skills, as well as keep my sense of humor.”
After graduation, Hendricks will spend the summer teaching theatre classes before beginning to audition and apply for positions this fall.
