Emily Dougherty to pursue further education with George Mason University Schar School of Policy & Governance
Emily Dougherty, ’22, will graduate from Emory & Henry College with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in French on May 7.
Dougherty, from Goochland, Va., will continue her education at George Mason University Schar School of Policy & Governance following graduation this spring. “My Education at Emory & Henry College has made me a well-rounded member of society and has given me the professional connections that a college student can only dream of,” Dougherty said. “My experiences have prepared me with the skills to successfully pursue my graduate degree. All of the professors at Emory & Henry have been absolutely amazing but I couldn’t have done it without Dr. Fisher and Dr. Krause. They have only instilled my love for international affairs. I will never forget the experiences that I have had at E&H no matter where I go in life!”
