C.J. Freeman to continue education at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale
C.J. Freeman, ’22, will graduate from Emory & Henry College with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Theater Design & Production with a minor in Art on May 7. Freeman was President of the social sorority Pi Sigma Kappa and honors fraternity Alpha Psi Omega, and they have been a Supplemental Instructor for multiple classes and an Orientation Leader for the past two years. They were involved for three years with the colorguard and in the concert choir for two semesters.
Freeman, from Bristol, Va., will go on to pursue a career in production as a scenic carpenter before attending the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale to pursue their Masters of Fine Arts in Technical Design and Production. “Emory & Henry is incredible at getting you professional experience before graduation and helping you make connections,” said Freeman.
