Zane Seymore to be commissioned into the United States Army
Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world.
Zane Seymore of Glade Spring, Va. will graduate on May 7, 2022, with a bachelor’s degree in sociology, crime and society with minors in psychology and military science. Seymore played football and rugby and he was involved with ROTC and Student Veterans Affairs.
Seymore will be commissioned by the United States Army on May 7, and he will begin his career as an infantry officer in the National Guard following graduation. He intends to pursue a career outside of the armed forces as well as a Virginia State Trooper. “The education I’ve received at Emory & Henry is going to help me better understand other peoples’ backgrounds and ideas in the future,” Seymore said.
