Faith Hamblin to pursue a career in psychology
Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world.
Faith Hamblin of Appalachia, Va. graduated on May 7, 2022, with a bachelors’ degrees in Psychology and Sociology. Hamblin was involved as captain of the Cheer Team, a sister of Delta Omicron Pi, treasurer of Psi Chi Honor Society, a member of Gamma Sigma Alpha, Emory’s Activities Board and an Orientation Leader.
Hamblin earned the Judith Butler Award and Academic Excellence in Sociology Award. Additionally, Hamblin will be pursuing a career as a school psychologist or a family counselor. “Take time to build connections with peers and professors. Be involved on campus, take opportunities, and go to the career center,” said Hamblin. “I gained experience, knowledge, and confirmation about becoming a counselor here on campus.”
