Dr. Christine Fleet, E&H professor of biology, was chosen to attend a training session with the Genomics Education Partnership, where she learned from biology faculty from around the country.
“I was able to bring tools back that will let students use genomics databases to interpret genetic information related to the insulin signaling pathway in fruit flies, and potentially have the opportunity to publish their results,” said Fleet.
Emory & Henry has announced plans to return to in-person learning on August 16, 2021 with a normal academic calendar, increased face-to-face instruction and recreational campus activities.
