School of Health Sciences Graduates 96 Students

On Aug. 15, the School of Health Sciences presented 32 Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees and 30 Master of Physician Assistant Studies degrees in a virtual ceremony.Graduates were from Canada and several states including California, Oregon, Washington, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, West Virginia, Kentucky, Alabama, Wisconsin and Texas. Five Emory & Henry alumni were part of the graduating classes.

In December, the Occupational Therapy Program awarded 34 master’s degrees. About a third of the class was from Virginia and other states represented were Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, New York, Illinois, Alabama, South Carolina, Texas, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Oregon and New Jersey.

    Division II Approval Pending

    Emory & Henry College has announced that it plans to join the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) in all of its NCAA-sanctioned sports. If approved for the move from Division III to Division II, the Wasps would earn provisional status in the Fall 2021 with plans to play a full conference schedule for the 2022-23 season.
