Bailey King to join the Chamber of Commerce of Smyth County
Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world.
Bailey King of Marion, Va. will receive bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Civic Innovation.
King will graduate with the class of 2023. In addition to her studies, King is a sister of Delta Omicron Pi, a member of the business honors society Sigma Beta Delta, Treasurer for the Student Government Association, a Resident Advisor for Housing and Res Life and a member of Civic Leader Scholars. “My time at Emory & Henry has prepared me in a multitude of ways. Through the internship program, I have been able to make world-of-work connections, find a full-time position after graduation and develop a larger knowledge of the professional world,” said King.
After graduation, King will join the Chamber of Commerce in Smyth County, Va. “The diverse education provided through a liberal arts college has helped expand my knowledge on a wide variety of subjects and has also helped me discover new educational realms that were of interest to me. The professors at Emory & Henry were always exceptionally helpful and caring. They went above and beyond to help their students,” said King.
