Megan Doody plans to join the Emory & Henry Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program
Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world.
Megan Doody of Camano, Wash. will receive a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.
Doody will graduate with the class of 2023. In addition to her studies, Doody also received her certified nursing assistant (CNA) license. She also worked as a reporter, copyeditor and sports editor for the Whitetopper Newspaper and was part of the Pre-Health Club, Civic Leaders Scholar and Rivers Way.
“I loved my experience at Emory & Henry. The emphasis on community involvement and professor support helped Emory & Henry feel like home, even though I was so far away from my hometown. You’re more than just a student at Emory & Henry,” said Doody.
Doody earned her CNA license in February and has been working at a long-term care and rehabilitation facility. “I will be applying to occupational therapy schools this summer, with hopes of attending Earth & Henry’s School of Health Sciences occupational therapy doctoral program in the summer of 2024,” said Doody.
