Paul Russo - and Friends! – Invite You for Basketball and Networking: Dec. 11, 2023

It’s a day of great basketball and great friendships at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. (Buy tickets now!)

On December 11, E&H fans and friends will have a chance to see two great basketball games. At 1:15 pm, the E&H Men’s Basketball Team will play Southern Wesleyan in the Spectrum Center arena in Charlotte. After the game, folks can walk across the street to The Daily for a social with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and the chance to interact with members of the E&H team and coaching staff. At 7 pm, the Charlotte Hornets will play the Miami Heat.

Head Men’s Basketball Coach Ben Thompson has a limited number of tickets to sell that will get you into BOTH games for one price!

For $40, you can enjoy both games. Or for the $55 ticket, you can enjoy both games PLUS a couple complimentary beverages and hors d’oeuvres at The Daily. (There will also be a cash bar available.)

Paul Russo is one of the organizers of the event. A former player himself and also a former head coach for E&H Men’s Basketball, he’s working with fellow basketball alums to head up the reception, and he says offering time and support back to E&H is important to him. “As a student player we always heard from Coach [Bob] Johnson about alumni who made contributions back to the program.” Now he and his teammates feel like it’s their time to give back to current students and offer important networking opportunities for soon-to-be grads.
