Emory & Henry College secured a strong position in the U.S. News & World Report, ranking 21st among 135 peer institutions for Best Colleges. Notable rankings also include 13th for Best Undergraduate Teaching Programs in the southern region and an upward move to 68th for social mobility.
Offering more than 90 majors, including new online/hybrid master’s and doctoral programs in nursing and business, the College enhanced its Center for Outdoor Studies, offering a unique semester on the Appalachian Trail for academic credit.
President John W. Wells emphasized the institution’s commitment to growth through market-relevant programs while upholding a liberal arts foundation and nurturing graduates as critical thinkers and leaders.
The rankings consider graduation rates, alumni giving, academic reputation, and support, highlighting Emory & Henry’s focus on undergraduate teaching and success for economically disadvantaged students.
