Martha Spencer featured in Rolling Stone magazine

Martha is noted as an “artist you need to know.”

It’s the sort of thing a young musician dreams of…but it’s a reality for Martha Spencer.

Martha was just listed in Rolling Stone magazine as one of the “Ten New Country Artists You Need to Know.” 

Martha has been known as a musician regionally for most of her life as she and her family played with the Whitetop Mountain Band. She has toured internationally, and we proudly call her a fellow alumna.

The article praises her for being authentic and suggests that if you like Old Crowe Medicine Show or Dolly Parton’s The Grass is Blue album that you should give Martha a listen.

Martha says her goal is not to sound like anyone else, the music “just has to be authentic to who you are.”
