Ryan Bowyer

Vice President for Student Experience Office of the President

Ryan returned to Emory & Henry in March, 2018. He has served as the Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives, Dean of Students, and began as the Vice President for Student Experience in January, 2024. 

Prior to Emory & Henry, he worked at Coastal Carolina University in University Housing and the Dean of Students Office, and at Methodist University in Student Life. At Methodist, he specifically oversaw Greek Life, Campus Media, and Student Activities. 

Currently, Ryan is a doctoral student at the University of Southern Mississippi. He has a master’s of science degree in education from Radford University (2012), and a bachelor’s of arts degree in history from Emory & Henry (2010).

Ryan lives in Meadowview with his family.
