Kim Hill

Kim is a Civic Leader Scholar and was drawn to the Civic Innovation program at Emory & Henry because of her past work in the surrounding community. Through her projects and classes, Kim has forged meaningful connections with her fellow students and with faculty and staff at the College. Kim has been involved with several projects on campus and in the local area and has worked this year with the senior Civic Innovation class on a project with the Glade Spring Town Square Center for the Arts. Kim believes her experience as a student at Emory & Henry will help to to increase the quality of her future work in the community. Kim believes the skills she has learned in the Civic Innovation program will serve her well in her career, helping her to serve as an effective community leader and to empower others to discover and use their own unique skills and values for the work of community development.
