Growing up in a military family meant that Rachel was never in one place for long, but this transitional life meant that she learned early on what it meant to quickly put down roots that would be strong enough to survive each transplant. When she finally sank those roots in at Emory & Henry, she knew that this was a place that would offer the same sort of support that the military life had offered with each transition.
She graduated from Emory & Henry with a B.A. in Psychology in May 2018 and began working with the Admissions office in February 2019. She states that she has always known that diversity was the path to strength and looks forward to helping students from all walks of life find their place in the beautiful, nurturing, and strengthening community at Emory & Henry.
