Fred George is a senior Admissions Counselor at the Emory & Henry College. He took the job in August of 2014 after working for two years at the Washington County Recreation Department in Abingdon.
Hailing from Conyers, Georgia, Fred says he “found Emory & Henry College to be the right place for my higher education needs.” He played four years of football at the collegiate level and graduated with a B.A. in Sports Management, and a Minor in Mass Communications.
He was inspired to further his education and earned his M.A.COL. in Community & Organizational Leadership. “The hands-on education I received at E&H has set a foundation for the way I live my life, I’m extremely appreciative of the skills I gained through the liberal arts.”
He says he loved Emory & Henry so much he stayed on campus to become an Admissions Counselor, “helping others receive the enlightenment I have found from Emory & Henry College’s exceptional education.”
