Melissa Davis
In addition to overseeing the operations of the Athletic Training Department, Davis currently serves as the Athletic Trainer for the football, women’s basketball and softball teams at E&H. She has previously worked with the Wasps’ women’s swimming, women’s soccer and men’s and women’s cross country teams.
Prior to coming to Emory, Davis served three years as Head Athletic Trainer at Tennessee High School in Bristol, Tenn.
Davis earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory & Henry in 2002, where she also was a pitcher on the Wasps’ softball team. She received her Master of Arts degree in 2005 from East Tennessee State University. A native of Richlands, Va., Davis now resides in Chilhowie.
“I want to make Emory & Henry a place that feels like home for each one of the students I see,” said Davis. “That’s how it was for me when I was a student.”
