Tony Graham

Adjunct Professor Physician Assistant

Dr. Graham is the psychiatrist for the Mt. Rogers Community Services Board PACT (Program of Assertive Community Treatment) program, which serves individuals in Smyth and Wythe counties.   

He completed medical school at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, completed an internal medicine internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center and trained in psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

Professional Experience

He previously served as the medical director of Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute in Marion,Virginia and served as the first national Chief of Telemedicine for the Veterans Health Administration (VA) from 1997-1999. 

His professional interests have been in working with individuals with psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and he has been a leader in the development of telemedicine in rural areas. He is a clinical associate professor of psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry at Quillen Dishner College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University.
