Curriculum and New Programs

The vision for the School of Business includes new program development to supplement the already strong existing programs in Accounting and Business Administration-Management.

Emory & Henry’s curriculum will combine a strong business education with a well-rounded liberal arts foundation, providing for the inclusion of mathematical and statistical principles, along with the ability to think critically and analytically, communicate effectively, consider expansively and creatively, and make decisions in an informed way. Students in the finance major will also combine classroom learning with real world application, particularly working collaboratively with The van Vlissingen Center for Career & Professional Development to obtain experience both on and off-campus.

In addition to formal degree programs, the School of Business plans to partner with regional businesses to provide contract training and certificate programs in skills sets that are identified to upgrade employee performance.
