Ms. Hinshelwood serves as Education Services Coordinator for the Education Department in the Neff Center for Teacher Education, in McGlothlin-Street Hall.
She earned her B.A. degree at the University of Mary Washington in Psychology and Elementary Teacher Education, grades 4-7.

Her background includes working in the public school system teaching sixth grade, working to administer a Title I program and serving as parent involvement coordinator for the Montgomery County Public Schools, Virginia Title I program
She enjoys her primary role of working with teacher preparation students at Emory & Henry College as they prepare to begin their careers in the field of education.
As coordinator, she is here to answer questions and provide support as students navigate the teacher licensure process for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
