What's your major?
What are your hobbies or extracurricular activities?
I have so many. I love the outdoors and paddling whether that’s a kayak, raft, or canoe. I love movies and listen to a lot of music. I also really enjoy art, but I don’t do much more nowadays than practice bracelet making patterns for my summers as a camp counselor. And I write, a lot.
What attracted you to Semester-A-Trail?
Unconventional education is where I thrive and I love the outdoors so after this past year of online, pandemic school I was looking to get back into my degree in an engaging way. Semester-A-Trail seemed like the perfect fit because if I ever wanted to hike the trail there’s no better time than now when I have the time free from traditional school and the support to do so.
What are you most looking forward to about the program?
The community! I love connecting with people and building relationships with like-minded folks (or not so like-minded sometimes). I’m enjoying getting to know our Semester-A-Trail cohort and I’m looking forward to meeting some trail characters along the way.
