Elizabeth Heflin

Elizabeth is a second-year honors student at Emory & Henry College pursuing a double major in Political Science and History. She began working as a Global Ambassador with the International Office of Education in March of 2021. Currently, Elizabeth develops posts for social media to educate students about the opportunities that OIE offers and assists E&H students in preparing for their education abroad! She looks forward to working on the Global Street Fair in the fall and meeting international students coming to E&H!

Her love of travel began on small family road trips and has since grown to a love of international travel and awareness. In 2019, Elizabeth had the opportunity to travel to Ireland with her high school history department and fell in love with energy and people in the country. She remembers the kindness of strangers and their sweet hospitality. This experience was wonderful and inspired her to pursue international travel and education opportunities. She is planning to study abroad at the University of Nottingham in England in the Spring semester of 2022. Currently, she looks forward to learning about and exploring different countries to gain an increased understanding of the world around her. Elizabeth is thankful for the International Office, which gives her access to programs abroad and the opportunity to meet international students at E&H!
