Research
James Herndon has published extensively on the development of new reagents for the synthesis of complex ring systems. An overarching theme of these research projects has been to develop methods that quickly and reliably transform simple and readily available compounds into complex ring systems. Professional Experience
James Herndon has enjoyed a long teaching and research career with prior appointments at the University of Maryland (1985-1997) and New Mexico State University (1997-2021).
