Kyra chose Emory and Henry because she fell in love with the nature and the look of the campus and knew she wanted to be a part of the compass environment. She likes the importance of community at E&H and how everyone interacts with each other on campus. Kyra is a Political Science and Psychology double major, and hopes to go to graduate school and get her Masters in Social work after graduation. She is part of the Calliopean Society and CCF. When she isn’t in class, she likes painting, spending time outside, and baking.
Kyra has participated in the Social Justice Project and the Appalachian Oral History Project. She is interested in connecting the history of the area and how it will interact with the college in the future, and hopes to assist the campus and community in accessing this information because it is important for our education.
