Sarah Moore

Sarah is a rising junior with a double major in Psychology and Civic Innovation. She plans to go into Counseling and get her Masters. She chose Emory & Henry because she wanted to be involved in a tight knit campus and Emory displayed exactly what she wanted from a college community. In her words she likes that no matter how different you are there is a place for you to fit in and find friends that will last a lifetime. She also appreciates the engagement of the college with the students that attend, and that there is always something going on giving a multitude of opportunities to make friends, network, and find out what really is of interest to you. On campus Sarah is involved in Volleyball, Bonner, Greek Life, and Resident Life. Sarah chose Civic Innovation with the expectation that any job she has in the future will benefit from the knowledge she is learning in this department. She feels strongly connected to the professors and her peers as they all work together to learn more about the world around them. The most interesting part of the Civic Innovation Department for Sarah is the fact that the topics are always changing and there is something new and fresh to talk about always. Sarah’s hobbies include listening to music, watching movies, and occasionally reading. She also loves freshly baked cookies.
