Maria Flaccavento
Maria is a Counselor in Residence pursuing licensure as a Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. She is also a registered yoga teacher and a certified trauma informed yoga instructor. Maria was born and raised in southwest Virginia and returned to the area in 2020. Prior to joining Emory and Henry, Maria worked in community-based services for children and families in foster care, as well as for adult emergency services and crisis stabilization.
