Jane Caldwell has been the Asst. Director / Reference Librarian at Kelly Library since 1984.
She currently does library / information literacy instruction, coordinates collection development, and provides reference service to library patrons.
She has a bachelor’s degree in history and French from West Virginia University, and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky.
She has worked in public and academic libraries in West Virginia, South Carolina, and Virginia, including Coastal Carolina University. She is a member of the Holston Associated Libraries’ User Services Committee. She has presented sessions for the Appalachian College Association, Virginia Educational Media Association, and Washington County Schools teachers’ in-service training.
She is a member of the Virginia Creeper Trail Club, the Historical Society of Washington County, and Animal Defense League of Washington County.
