Ronan D. King, a native Bristolian with 30 years of fundraising and development experience to her credit, serves Emory & Henry College as its Director of Development.
The Director, she helps to administer and coordinate the College’s ongoing philanthropic efforts to secure annual financial support from alumni, faculty, staff, parents, students, businesses, and friends to help sustain the overall operations of the institution.
King oversees the Emory & Henry Fund, the I-HEY athletic giving program, the Patrick Henry Society and other outreach programs such as phonathons and the College’s employee and student campaigns.
Ronan is an active community leader and volunteer with affiliations such as the Junior League of Bristol, CASA For Kids, and the College-Community Club. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Massengill-DeFriece Foundation, the Bristol Tennessee City School Foundation, United Way of Bristol and the Bristol YMCA. Ronan is a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Bristol, Virginia.
