Amanda L. Surber
Amanda is the Administrative Assistant for Counseling Services at Emory & Henry College. Originally from Saltville, Virginia and a first-generation college student, Amanda is an alumnus of East Tennessee State University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. They hold a Bachelors in Music Education and a certificate in Full-Stack Web Development. Amanda has worked for over six years in various education positions, working as an English instructor, tutor, Scoring Director for K-12 level testing, and most recently with Admissions Outreach for E&H.
With their experience, Amanda hopes to provide a welcoming, comforting and supportive space for all students and anyone visiting Counseling Services.
