Lauren Dotson

Assistant Professor Education

Dr. Lauren Dotson serves as the Chair of the Education Department and Director of the Neff Center for Teacher Preparation.  A mountain girl at heart, she enjoys doing all things “outdoors,” like horseback riding, hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing.  Her research interests include the middle level learner, socioeconomic status and academic achievement, and using a trauma-sensitive lens when approaching student behaviors and academic growth.
