COVID-19 Policy for the McGlothlin Center for the Arts

  • All guests must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status or a negative COVID-19 test.
    • Please be ready to show your photo ID and one of the following items:
      • Physical vaccination card or print out of a negative PCR COVID-19 test
      • Photo of vaccination card or screenshot of negative PCR COVID-19 test results on a mobile device. These must be clearly legible.
  • All guests must properly wear a face mask covering their nose and mouth while in the building.
  • Seating will be spaced 3 feet apart, with 1 empty seat between groups or individuals. Groups, such as families, who purchase their tickets in one transaction may sit together.

Ticket prices vary. Please call the Box Office for ticket information, 276-944-6333.

  • Artalks and exhibits are free and open to the public.
  • E&H students receive one complimentary ticket to each McGlothlin Center event. Students must claim their ticket in person at the McGlothlin Center Box Office with their E&H ID. Tickets will be available three weeks before each event.
  • E&H employees are allotted two complimentary tickets to each McGlothlin Center event. Employees must claim their tickets in person at the McGlothlin Center Box Office with their E&H ID. Tickets will be available three weeks before each event. 
  • For groups ten or more, attending one performance, there is a 10% discount and a flat handling fee of $10. Please call the McGlothlin Center Box Office to place your order and receive the discount.
  • There are no discounts for children, senior citizens, students of other institutions, emergency personnel, or alumni.

Absolutely no refunds; however tickets may be exchanged with a 48-hour lead time.
Programs are subject to change.

Single Tickets

Single tickets vary depending on the event category. Exceptions to pricing will be noted in the listings of events. Student and employee pricing varies.

Guest Performing Artist Series-$25

The Guest Performing Artist Series is a curated lineup of nationally and internationally known performing artists. The McGlothlin Center strives to showcase artists and performing styles that are not frequently featured in Southwest Virginia, providing E&H students with the opportunity to experience one-on-one interactions with artists at the cutting edge of their fields.

Theatre Performances-$15

The McGlothlin Center is proud to host the theatre performances of the talented E&H students. The theatre department produces four performances a year, featuring performance styles from classic to modern works.

Music Performances:-$10

The E&H faculty recitals and visiting academic professors and friends have a variety of talents in all types of mediums. With several choral and musical ensembles, there is something for everyone’s musical taste.
