Worship is central to the spiritual journey, but sometimes life at college can get a little crazy.
Carving out space for worship is often difficult in the midst of a busy schedule of studying and other activities. For this reason, E&H Spiritual Life provides a number of on-campus worship opportunities at different times and featuring various styles. These range from a traditional Sunday morning United Methodist church service to student-led contemporary style worship gatherings.
Emory United Methodist Church
Students are invited to join the congregation of Emory United Methodist Church every Sunday at 9:30AM for a traditional United Methodist worship service. Emory & Henry’s Memorial Chapel houses a well-established congregation led by the Reverend David Jackson. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who feels at home in a more traditional worship setting.
Gathering Around the Table is an intergenerational and informal gathering for worship and discussion that meets every 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at 5:30. Dinner is provided.
When & Where for Traditional Worship: Every Sunday at 9:30 am in Memorial Chapel Sanctuary
