Housing & Residence Life
ALL OFFICES & SERVICESEmory & Henry is considered a Residential Campus which means we require all students to live on-campus while attending the College.
The historic campus maintains the scenic beauty of Central Appalachia but gives convenient access to the region’s activities and culture. On-campus residents find there are always friends and activities to engage in. The E&H campus features a variety of residence halls with co-ed, single-gender, and gender-inclusive accommodations. Residence halls feature Resident Advisors to assist students as they acclimate to their new surroundings. The Office of Housing and Residence Life website hopes to offer you an array of information to prepare students for their arrival to campus.
Students who are interested in living off-campus must submit an Off-Campus Housing Application and be approved by the Office of Housing and Residence Life. All applications are due by February 1st and must be completed annually. To learn more about living off-campus, please see details here.
For any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach our team at housing@ehc.edu.

A good rule for a successful roommate experience is to keep an open mind.</span></div></aside>

Housing & Residence Life will coordinate with Dining Services and an acquaintance of the sick student to have meals delivered to their room. In the event that a student needs to visit the emergency room and the Housing & Residence Life Office is notified, the Dean of Students or the Assistant Dean of Students travels to the hospital to sit with each sick student and connect with their emergency contact. An Emory & Henry College student never has to sit in an emergency room alone if they do not wish to be alone.</span></div></aside>
