Tutoring: Online Tutorial Request
Prof. Daniel, an alum of Emory & Henry College, shares her expertise as a writing specialist in online tutorials. When you submit a request via your ehc.edu email account, also email Prof. Daniel to alert her to allow reasonable time for feedback (up to 48 hours Monday-Friday). Prof. Daniel may be able to arrange a meeting on campus with adequate notice. Email her. Graduate students are encouraged to seek tutorials with Prof. Daniel, who has the advanced training to help students at the graduate level.

Shay is available to help you with your writing and/or with tutoring related to grammar, MLA, and writing-related concepts during her posted hours as well as by appointment at another mutually convenient time. She also likes to help students brainstorm topics. Email her if you would like to meet at another mutually convenient time or even if you want to tell her you will be dropping in to see her during a posted time. Plan ahead to make the best of a tutorial exchange. When you go to the library to work with Shay, look for the giant arrow in collaboration area. If you do not see her during “Rock the Books” on Wednesday night, just ask around to see where the tutors are.
Drop-in Hours: Monday 10-12
Writing specialist Dr. Mitchell oversees Writing Center services, supervises tutors, consults with the faculty, and tutors students by appointment. If you need help to sort out your writing needs, email or visit Dr. Mitchell to develop a plan for success. Dr. Mitchell’s office is located in McGlothlin-Street Hall, room 230.
